Unauthorized Website Posing as DBO Licensee Private Lending Direct, LLC

The Department of Business Oversight (DBO) has been notified that the website PrivateLendingDirectLLC.com is using the name, address and phone number of a DBO-licensed entity, Private Lending Direct, LLC, without the entity’s authorization or permission. The website lists the licensee’s Hermosa Beach address and phone number, but the website operator is not licensed to make loans in California. The organization at PrivateLendingDirectLLC.com, should not be confused with the DBO-licensed finance lender Private Lending Direct, LLC, license number 60DBO-44629. The licensee’s official website is at PrivateLendingDirect.com.

The DBO urges consumers to exercise extreme caution before responding to any solicitation promoting loans or other offers.
