Website HanaiCapitalInvest.com Fraudulently Posing as DBO Licensee Hanai Capital LLC

The Department of Business Oversight (DBO) has been notified that the website HanaiCapitalInvest.com is using the name, address and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Central Registration Depository (CRD) number (168243) of a DBO-licensed entity, Hanai Capital LLC, without the licensed entity’s authorization or permission. The website offers cryptocurrency investments and displays a falsified California Secretary of State document with the name “Hanain Capital Investment Inc.,” which does not exist.  The website hanaicapitalinvest.com should not be confused with the DBO-licensed Investment Advisor Hanai Capital LLC, with CRD number 168243 and the website HanaiCapital.com.

The DBO urges consumers to exercise extreme caution before responding to any solicitation offering financial services. To check whether a California financial service provider is licensed in California, or to file a complaint, consumers should go to the DBO website at www.dbo.ca.gov or call 1-866-275-2677.
