There have been an historic amount of changes in student loan policy in a very short amount of time lately. This is due in part to lawsuits challenging Department of Education initiatives and in part to the White House continuing to pursue their goal of broad loan forgiveness for struggling student loan borrowers. The result of these actions has caused significant confusion among borrowers who are trying to determine the best strategy to manage their student loans. This session will explain the recent court ordered temporary pause on the SAVE repayment plan as well as the latest in debt relief that was announced on July 31st.
