The 56th annual California Native American Day is coming back to the State Capitol on Friday, September 22nd, 2023. This event is hosted by the California Tribal Chairpersons’ Association in partnership with the State of California, and is a great opportunity to celebrate the rich history and culture of California Tribes. This year’s theme is “Protecting Our People Through Sovereignty: Past, Present, and Future.”
