Join us for the 58th Annual California Native American Day at the California State Capital Building hosted by the California Tribal Chairpersons Association and sponsored by Assemblymember James Ramos (AD45) and the Native American Legislative Caucus! The theme for this upcoming event is: “Walking in their Footsteps: Carrying Forward the Legacy of Strength and Sovereignty.” Join our celebration featuring cultural performances, artisan and vendor booths, educational exhibits, and community elements honoring elders and veterans. The celebration was founded in 1998 and aims to educate and foster appreciation for the history, culture, and struggles of California’s indigenous peoples.
