The California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) has received information that four websites, listed below, are falsely representing themselves as All Points Escrow, Inc. (All Points), a legitimate licensed escrow company in California (License #963-1675):
- https://allpointsescrow.org – uses the business name AllPoints Escrow Inc.
- https://allpointsescrow.com – uses the business name All Points Escrow & LTD CO
- https://allpoints-escrow.com
- https://allpointsesc.com
DFPI warns consumers that All Points does not currently maintain any active website and the above websites are not affiliated with All Points. They contain fraudulent contact information, display fictitious license numbers, and falsely claim to be licensed by the DFPI.
Consumers are urged to:
- Refrain from providing personal, financial, or transaction information to these fraudulent websites.
- Verify an escrow company’s license through the DFPI’s official website before engaging in business.
- Report suspicious websites or contacts to the DFPI immediately.
To check whether a financial service provider is licensed in California, or to submit a complaint, consumers should go to the DFPI website at www.dfpi.ca.gov or call 1-866-275-2677.
