The Legislation Division serves as the government affairs liaison and the primary contact for legislative matters, representing the Commissioner and the DFPI when communicating with various public and private agencies and organizations. The Legislation Division also tracks and analyzes bills, ensuring consistent interpretation and application of laws that the DFPI administers and enforces.
