Cbesx.com – Email (Fraudulent Platform)

A California victim reports receiving an email from “Mr. Benjamin” who claimed to be part of a finance team for an investment company called CBESX. The victim responded, and Mr. Benjamin instructed the victim how to open an account on the CBESX platform at http://cbesx.com/ to trade crypto assets. The victim sent money to the account and began trading, and at one point, believed their account had grown to more than $230,000. But when the victim tried to withdraw funds from the platform, the platform demanded they pay a 10% commission fee, totalling $23,000, to the crypto asset wallet USDT ERC20 at: 0x6203BD87e38D994B96Da5e106F1eD7B55019a693. The victim paid but has not able to withdraw their money. The website is no longer operational.
