Description

A California resident reports they met an individual on TikTok who asked to move the conversation over to Whatsapp. At some point, the individual brought up the topic of investing in crypto assets and convinced the resident to open an account on the crypto asset trading platform operating on the website chainrealm.org. Following the individual’s instructions, the victim transferred crypto assets onto the platform. After believing their account balance had grown, the resident attempted to withdraw some of their funds. However, the platform demanded they deposit additional funds before it would release the funds. The victim has been unable to recover any of their funds and the website is no longer operational.
