Global Capitals – Homepage (Fraudulent Platform)

A California resident reports being contacted by a blogger promoting a crypto asset coin. The blogger invited the victim to open an account on the crypto asset trading platform, Global Capitals at https://app.globalcapitalsgc.com, and convinced the victim to transfer funds into their account to trade for profits. The victim did so, and believed they were making profits trading along with the blogger. But when the victim tried to withdraw their funds the platform denied their request. Then the blogger messaged the victim and told them to send more to the platform which would help with the withdrawal. The victim did so, but was still unable to withdraw their funds. The victim has been unable to recover their funds, and the website is no longer operational.
