State of California African American Economy Summit


Hosted by the California African American Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization that drives economic impact for African American businesses across California. The Summit will be held at The Westin Los Angeles Airport hotel in Los Angeles and will feature California Governor Gavin Newson as a guest speaker.

Department of Labor Off-Base Transition Training Employment Workshops

Kern County residents will be able to get their taxes completed for FREE while enjoying free other resources from different community agencies, including the DFPI who will be sharing resources and information on how consumers can protect themselves from frauds and scams.

Community Health & Resource Fair


The DFPI will be hosting a resource table and distributing educational materials at the Community Health & Resource Fair hosted by California Connect. Other government, non profit, and community organizations will be attending to share resource materials, free health screening, vaccinations, and free eyeglasses.
