Reminder Page – Cryptotradingure.top (Fraudulent Platform)

A California consumer attempted to withdraw funds from a purported crypto trading platform called crypto-trading.top. The consumer reported that the platform demanded they pay capital gains tax before it would release any deposited funds. After the consumer paid the alleged tax, the platform claimed that the consumer’s credit score had dropped and demanded additional fees to release any funds. The consumer subsequently ceased communication with the platform and has not recovered any of their funds. The website is no longer operational, and based on correspondences provided by the resident of their interaction with the platform’s customer service, it appears this platform is attempting to impersonate Crypto.com by using the logo of their native token, Cronos. This is not to be confused with any DeFi related products or services of Crypto.com.
