Surrendering a License
Surrendering a CRMLA License
- The licensee must notify the Department through the NMLS that they intend to surrender the CRMLA license. The original license must be returned to the Department of Corporations.
- Submit a plan for withdrawal including the Closing Audit.
- Comply with all requirements of the CRMLA
- The licensee must also submit any documents required on the checklist (PDF) within 5 business days of the electronic submission of the surrender through the NMLS.

Surrendering a Branch License
- The licensee must notify the Department through the NMLS that they intend to surrender the branch license. The original license must be returned to the Department of Corporations.
- Submit any documents required on the surrender checklist (PDF) within 5 business days of the electronic submission of the surrender through the NMLS.
