Surrendering a CRMLA License

  1. The licensee must notify the Department through the NMLS that they intend to surrender the CRMLA license. The original license must be returned to the Department of Corporations.
  2. Submit a plan for withdrawal including the Closing Audit.
  3. Comply with all requirements of the CRMLA
  4. The licensee must also submit any documents required on the checklist (PDF) within 5 business days of the electronic submission of the surrender through the NMLS.

Surrendering a Branch License

  1. The licensee must notify the Department through the NMLS that they intend to surrender the branch license. The original license must be returned to the Department of Corporations.
  2. Submit any documents required on the surrender checklist (PDF) within 5 business days of the electronic submission of the surrender through the NMLS.
